FAQ & Helpful Info

Flights of Stairs/No Lift

Please note that our bedrooms are situated on either the 1st or 2nd floor of the building. Please be aware that there is no lift available, so guests should be prepared to navigate stairs during their stay.

The Building

House Arundel is situated in a 16th Century, Grade II listed building, so you can expect some beautiful original features. We're on a high street, so you may hear the occasional bit of external noise, but creaky floorboards is also something you might hear from time to time in some of the surrounding rooms. For the quietest night sleep, we recommend The Queen, The Earl and The Duchess. We have supplied each room with ear plugs for any light sleepers!

Children

Children aged 6 and above are welcome when accompanied by a parent.
Our bedrooms accommodate a maximum of two persons, and we do not have the capacity for extra beds. Families can secure their private floor by booking both The Earl and The Duchess bedrooms.

Dogs/Pets

We love dogs, but do not host sleepovers with our furry friends, sorry! We do, though, have a dog of our own who will occasionally reside in the communal areas and back of house. He does not go upstairs.

Air Conditioning

Unfortunately there's no air conditioning in the rooms, but there are thermal blinds and fans provided.
